Moving Notepad 2 updates.
While you’re stuck complaining about DSiWare’s thin selection of quality releases in the U.S., Japan received a new version of DSi’s killer app/animation software, Moving Notepad. But hey, enjoy Card Classics.
The free update adds new tools for advanced users, “Ugo Letter” for sending animations to friends, commenting with hand written notes and pictures, and more. Other users’ animations are also now organized into different channels when you browse through them on your DSi, just like on the corresponding Ugomemo Hatena site.
One of Moving Notepad 2’s really odd additions is the unique code assigned to each animation, presented with directional-pad and button presses. Here’s a code for one of my creations, for example: “LYR↓R↑RALR”. You can punch in this code either on your DSi or on Ugomemo Hatena to bring up a specific animation.

And yes, I already tried out the Konami code, but nothing popped up — no unicorns or rainbows or extra mans.
