New Beyond the Labyrinth screens finally offer a hint of what this Tri-Ace project will be. As some speculated, this will be a first-person dungeon crawling RPG, à la Etrian Odyssey, in which the white-haired girl shown here will serve as your guide through the quest.

The lack of character portraits does leave me worried that there will be few opportunities to for player investment in their adventuring parties, but it’s too early to tell if that will be the case. Also unclear: how the characters’ rock, scissors, paper icons play into the game.
