Wow! I think many gamers would’ve preferred this artwork over Metroid: Other M’s boring North American cover, even though Samus kind of looks like a motocross ghostrider here. Certainly, it would be a step closer to Japan’s wayyyy cool packaging for the Wii game.

By the way, you might recognize the artist of this piece as the same illustrator behind those double-sided Mega Man 2 posters we mentioned not too long ago.
