“The End of the Raging Waves” from Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City’s soundtrack. I imagine that when Yuzo Koshiro first laid out this track on his PC-8801, someone in the studio yelled out, “You crazy for this one, Yuzo!”

Maybe it was the game’s director Shigeo Komori or just a friend hanging around. Or perhaps it was Koshiro-san himself, impressed with the work his hands wrought. Regardless of who it was, I am certain someone acknowledged that he was indeed crazy for this one.
