I try not to allow myself to be swayed by hype, but the amount of ridiculous swag Capcom is producing for this series (new today: two cases for Monster Hunter trading cards, two different sets of figurines, and six mugs) is actually making me pay more attention to the games than I probably would have otherwise. Especially this adorable pig-in-pajamas incense burner.

Making me look into the Monster Hunter games isn’t necessarily a bad thing — they appear to be Phantasy Star Online-alikes, which means they’re right up my alley.
