Success! About two months after it started (and after we posted an appeal for help), the Nanashi no Game fan translation project has resulted in an actual, downloadable patch. If you have access to a DS flash cart and a legally-acquired ROM of the game, you can now read the text in Square Enix’s creepy-ass DS game (about people discovering a cursed RPG).

Perfect timing! You can play this on Halloween while you wait for trick-or-treaters, and then get really startled when they knock on your door.
