Trailer for Youkai Watch (Ghost Watch), a promising new “cross-media franchise” (games/anime/manga) from Level-5. I am sooo hyped for this. Check out the ghost cat! The ghost kappa! The ghost old-lady-beard thing!

The publisher hasn’t revealed an expected release date or even a platform for this yet — maybe PS3, PS Vita, Wii U, or…. 3DS? Checking out the seven seconds of game footage around 1:14, it looks maybe too advanced for a handheld? There’s always hope that, like Ni no Kuni, there will be a portable version, at least (and, hopefully, unlike Ni no Kuni, that one would released outside of Japan.).
