“Leaked” photo from a Solatorobo 2 trailer. The story behind this image, as relayed to us by a couple French (!) gaming sites, is that Solatorobo character designer Nobuteru Yūki himself, teased this shot on Twitter.
On that Twitter account, which was created just yesterday and is presented in English for some reason, Yūki — whose past credits include huge anime productions like Escaflowne, X, and Clover — says he took the picture two days ago when no one was around.
So, yes, a famous animator/character designer started a Twitter account just so he could ruin his career by posting info for a sequel to an unpopular game he worked on. That’s exactly what happened here, for sure.
