Subtitled trailer for Takashi Miike’s Ace Attorney film (turn on annotations by pressing the little speech bubble icon to see subtitles). This looks hella dramatic! I kind of wonder if the costumes are too accurate — I mean, I definitely appreciate the accurate costumes, and prefer them to unrecognizable, toned-down ones, but they have the effect of making this look a bit like cosplayers acting.

Basically, my feelings on the important matter of what the wardrobe looks like in the Phoenix Wright movie are complicated. I’m gonna go meditate on these troubled thoughts. In any case, I am so down to see this at the earliest possible opportunity.
