Many years ago (two), I wrote for a small video game blog called Joystiq, contributing stories to its now defunct satellite sites. My byline hasn’t appeared there for some time now, but if you took a break from the turkey festivities yesterday to check the site, you’d have caught a new article from me that will be of interest to you.
In the editorial, I talk at length about how Super Mario 3D Land is the “Avatar of 3DS games”, and why developers shouldn’t struggle to match its stereoscopic 3D feats. While it’s a topic I’ve discussed briefly here before, you should read it anyway, as it was an excuse to gush about Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars ($13.99 right now!) once again on a major outlet.
