Mister Donut DS by Nippon Columbia. This game allows you to make Mister Donut’s iconic products, glaze them, arrange them for display, and sell them to customers.

It’s part of the “Akogare Girls Collection,” which is supposed to be about dream jobs. I guess the idea of “donut store employee” as a dream job is pretty insulting, but man, I don’t care. Just like I don’t care that Mister Donut’s donuts aren’t actually very good at all. I love that chain, and make a point to stop in whenever possible when I’m in Japan, and here’s why:

When I go into a Mister Donut, I’m buying not just cheap, kind of rubbery, dry donuts, but I’m also paying for Pon de Lion’s continued existence. I love you, Pon de Lion.
