Nicalis’s next eShop game (and first Wii U game!) is Aban Hawkins & the 1001 Spikes, an enhanced remake of an XBLIG game by 8Bits Fanatics. This news is out of the IDEAME conference, which I just realized is a Nintendo thing for indie devs.
1001 Spikes is a retro-styled “masocore” side-scroller that surprises you with death! All the time! Here’s a trailer for the original:
