With All Hallows’ Eve approaching, I wanted to share several clips I’ve saved of these three girls playing through the 3D exploration parts of the original Nanashi no Game. If you enjoy hearing Japanese people freak out over scary games, you’ll like this! Also, it’s an opportunity to see more of this Square Enix title that never made it to the States.

For the uninitiated, Nanashi no Game, or the Game With No Name, centers around an 8-bit RPG that kills gamers shortly after they play it — Square Enix pretty much ripped off The Ring. When you aren’t playing the cursed RPG, you investigate creepy areas like haunted homes and abandoned hospitals.
