Nintendo Direct was bigger for 3DS than E3

Last night’s Nintendo Direct presentations just blew away what the company had to show at E3 for 3DS. Look at all these announcements that we got!:
- Nintendo 3DS XL releasing to the States on August 28 fo $199 in Red and Blue
- Namco Bandai will assist Sakurai and his team with the development of Super Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U
- Fire Emblem: Awakening ships in the U.S. next year
- Animal Crossing 3DS and FE: Awakening ship in Europe first half of 2013
- Kingdom Hearts 3D demo on the U.S. eShop now
- Theatrhythm Final Fantasy demo on the EU eShop
- eShop anniversary sale - 20 percent off popular games for two weeks
- Nintendo of America promises two Virtual Console releases a week from now on
- New Super Mario Bros. 2 will have Coin Rush stages sold post-release as paid DLC
- Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask releasing in the U.S. this November
- Pokémon Typing Adventure for Europe in Sept.
- FreakyForms Deluxe with an RPG mode releasing in Europe to retail on July 28
- Gyouretsu Nageloop, a new eShop puzzler, was revealed for Japan — think Puzzloop/Zuma, except you throw people instead of shooting balls
