Sora wo Kakeru Shojo Shooting, the DSiWare shoot’em up based on mecha/comedy anime The Girl Who Leapt Through Space. Released this week, the game features four levels and three playable characters (each piloting a ship with an alternate mech mode).

For those keeping count, this marks the fifth shmup available on Japan’s DSi download service — Europe has one (Zombie BBQ), and North America is shmup-less.

Most are boring or titles we already featured, but Intelligent System’s Three-Minute Rocket and Genterprise/Suzak’s new games are worth looking into.
