Bird Week, published on Famicom by Toemiland. This is one of the cheapo games I picked up from Rising Stuff a couple of weeks ago. My shipment finally arrived, so I’ve had a chance to play the reviled game, and I kind of like it!

Basically, you fly around, picking up butterflies to feed to your baby birds. When sated, the youngsters fly away in a totally heartwarming sequence.

To prove that no NES/Famicom game is without its fans, here’s a guy playing the Bird Week music on piano.
