

“Ode To London Transport” by David Sugar, an old favorite of mine from the artist’s 2006 album Fresh Off The Chip. I totally forgot about Sugar until he popped up at this year’s Blip Festival (again, if you haven’t read it yet, load up Fort90’s exhaustive report on Blip Fest 2009)!
Since we’re beginning a new year, I want to share several standout micromusic tracks from the old one. If you’re angry that your songs or favorite artists aren’t mentioned, keep in mind I have specific tastes in chiptunes, preferring tracks with vocals over those without. Also, I didn’t include covers, remixes, or game music, otherwise YMCK’s PiCTOBiTS soundtrack would dominate the list.
