“Power Off! Power On!” by Uzura. Here’s a confession: despite Um Jammer Lammy being one of my favorite games everrrrrr, I had never heard of its “Fever Time” until recently.

If you’re not familiar with the game (or with Parappa), essentially, successful improvisation in any of the games will result in a rank of “Cool,” during which time your mentor leaves the stage and leaves you to improvise through the song. However, by entering a controller code from the loading screen on a song you’ve completed, you can enter into an even more bonuser mode called “Fever Time,” during which time flashy junk happens on the screen and you get way more points.

Here’s Parappa hitting Fever Time twice in one round. While it sounds weird enough to jam on buttons with Lammy, improvising with Parappa results in an extended stutter.
