An appeal for Cho Chabudai Gaeshi at home

Dear Taito,
I was fascinated by the concept behind your latest arcade creation Cho Chabudai Gaeshi. Unfortunately, arcade rooms have become extinct in the West so it’s almost impossible for me and so many other players to do our share of tea table upsetting. For this reason I decided to lend a helping hand and suggest a number of creative hypothesis for a possible conversion of this game that don’t require the production of an expensive new accessory no one would want to buy around here anyway. I’ve asked for the help of Otosama to guide me along the way.
Hypothesis 1: Bring out the DK Bongos!

Seeing that the Wii has great GameCube retrocompatibility , perhaps it is time to clean the dust off this great accessory that never got proper use anyway. I suggest that the bongos should be used as a replacement for the tea table. Each of the drums could represent the different sides of the table and you could reprogram the built-in microphone to react to the sound of bongos as we tumble them in anger! They’re solid so I’m fairly certain they’d withstand the shock. What do you say, Otosama?
Hmmm… quite right. I’ll have to think that one over. It’s too bad because those bongos were crying for some action.
Hypothesis 2: Turn it into a current-gen download!

Perhaps it is time to put the Sixaxis part of the Dual Shock 3 to good use. How easily could Cho Chabudai Gaeshi be converted to the PS3 and made available on the PS Store? The player could use the analog sticks to vent rage by pressing the L3 and R3 buttons - the act itself is an anti-stress exercise. Later, to simulate the turning table, one could simply flip the Dual Shock 3 or shake it. No extra accessories. Just download and play. What do you think, almighty and enlightened Otosama?

The motion wands, you say? Hey, I want to play this game while I’m still young…!
Hypothesis 3: Dual DS styli!

Why didn’t I think of this earlier? The DS is perfect! The game’s graphics are low on polygon count and textures, making it a very friendly port. The use of the two screens could reproduce the arcade cabinet, with the lower screen displaying the tea table. The game box could bring two special stylus to be used simultaneously. Hiting the hand signs on the table would provide the irate warnings; and flipping it using both styli simultaneously, Rhythm Tengoku-style!

Great, Otosama, for once we agree.
Taito, please make Cho Chabudai Gaeshi a tiny cartridge!
