Since JC mentioned it earlier this week while talking about titles based on vocaloid mascots, I thought I’d post this DS homebrew gem, Rinlen.

There isn’t really a point to this “game,” other than to throw onions and change the characters’ facial expressions while a synthy rendition of a Finnish polka song play.

If this wackadoodle clip interests you at all, you’ll be happy to hear that it was one of three homebrew releases from programmer MeRAMAN that I covered in my feature “Japanese homebrew games that will blow your mind.” Hardly anyone read it when we originally ran the piece — here’s your chance to amend that injustice.
