As a preorder bonus for the new DS Phantasy Star Zero, Sega will include a set of four collectible trading cards, each of which contains a code to unlock a new weapon.

The weapons are all items from other upcoming or recent Sega games, including: Selvaria’s spear from Valkyria Chronicles, the “Valiant” claw from Blazer Drive, and the Houken Blade Cannon from Shining Wind. The Sega crossover items were one of my favorite things from Phantasy Star Online, so I’m amused.

The best unlockable item to come from these cards, however, is the Mikku Miku Negi, a leek released to tie in with Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- . Hatsune Miku famously wielded a leek in this video.
