First look at Game Center CX 3! ⊟
Arino visited G.Rev’s office to check on the team’s progress with Game Center CX 3 for 3DS, and he even tried out a couple of its retro-style games in his TV show’s latest episode (Shadow of the Ninja challenge).
The first game he tried out was a Mario Bros. style platformer — the gimmick is that your wizard hits blocks and gets enemies to fall into them. He also played Wing Hero, which looks like a Sky Kid-esque horizontal-scrolling shoot’em up. And we caught a glimpse of another platformer, a maze game, something that looked like foosball, and some other Atari-looking joint. Credit to MitsuMaple for these shots!
Yeah, these all look simple, but you’ll remember the original Game Center CX/Retro Game Challenge from IndiesZero started off with some hella basic titles. That one ended up with eight games total, while its sequel featured 14 (including variations of Rally King, Haggleman, etc.). Oh, and we haven’t heard anything about a Western release yet..
