Infinite Space anime short fansubbed.

I’ve been looking for a subtitled version of this Infinite Space “webisode” (ugh) ever since Sega first put it up a month ago, and fansub group DATS has rewarded my interest. I know some of you were waiting for it, too!

Even with the English translation, though, I’m no closer to understanding what’s going on in this video. There’s some stuff happening with a space ship and the “G-effect”? I assume that the G-Effect is when the rhythm is the bass, and the bass is the treble?
