Artwork from a gallery show of ex-Skip artist Hikarin’s work. The exhibit accompanies the release of Pipe no Machi 2, an animated short film by Hikarin and Skip composer Hirofumi Taniguchi.

I adore Skip’s quirky signature look, seen in games like Captain Rainbow, Chibi-Robo! and Giftpia. Judging from this artwork, it’s all Hikarin’s doing. It’s a bit sad, then, that she’s apparently left Skip. Although leaving Skip didn’t stop Kenichi Nishi from developing LOL with former Skip coworkers.
