Dragon Ball: Origins 2 extended English trailer. Though I was interested in this mix of Dragon Ball with Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks-style gameplay when Namco Bandai announced the game in Japan, I haven’t paid attention to it since, so it surprised me when I found out recently that the game will hit the U.S. in three weeks!
In fact, there’s a DBO 2 demo you can download for free starting today from the Nintendo Channel, provided you have an internet-connected Wii. I forgot that cool stuff sometimes pops up on the Nintendo Channel!
What you can expect from the free trial:
“In this single-level demo, players will attempt to retrieve his gear as they solve puzzles, hone their skills, encounter skillful opponents and face off in an ultimate boss battle that provides just a sample of the final gameplay experience.”
The game saw a decent reception in Japan — Famitsu’s critics rated the game 7/7/8/7 or 29 out of 40, and its average customer score on the Japanese Amazon site is four out of five stars (based on nine reviews). Of course, if you grab the free demo, you can see for yourself whether you’ll like Dragon Ball: Origins 2.
Preorder: Dragon Ball: Origins 2 (June 22nd)
