Boing! Docomodake DS trailer. The trailer for Ignition’s US release of AQ Interactive’s platformer about the NTT DoCoMo mascot, appears to synopsize the entire game in 3D animation.

The freakiness of releasing a game based on a mascot for a company that doesn’t operate here was pretty appealing to me as a novelty, but now I’m hell of charmed by the cute mushroom family. I wondered how the hell Ignition thought they would sell a game based on a license that basically doesn’t exist (and is a cell phone mascot), but the secret is that it’s really damn cute.
