The Star Soldier-inspired shoot’em up from the original Game Center CX — coming stateside as Retro Game Challenge on February 10th — returns with a Score Attack version in which players try to get as high a score as possible within three or five minutes.

If you’ve ever read about Hudson’s Caravan festivals and competitions in Japan, or if you’ve played Star Soldier R, that’s the Score Attack concept!

GCCX2 will see another returning title with a non-retail edition — Rally King EX: Time Trial.

Rally King EX spoofs the competition carts of old, presenting a single course that players can race through with three different speed classes, trying to finish the track as quickly as possible.

Like the other two special edition GCCX2 games we previewed, Rally King EX and Star Prince: SAV will only be available at “Game Shop Waku Waku Boy”!
