I’m not going to lie, I’m a fucking beast at Rally King. Those who’ve seen me race around in Retro Game Challenge have described my abilities as, “Like watching Days of Thunder come to life, except in a video game, and not counting that crappy game from the early 90s.”

The New York Times even contacted me earlier today about a story they want to do on the course records I’ve set — it turns out that they want to talk less about Guitar Hero and more about Rally King, from here on out.

I’m also entertaining several sponsorship offers for this year’s Evo Championship Event; I haven’t decided yet between Coke, Cracker Barrel, or Cup O’ Chicken Noodle.

And for those of you who can’t get through Rally King without exploding but haven’t been able to get the invincibility code from the April 1986 issue of Game Fan to work, it’s because the code was misprinted! You have to hold down the Select button and push UP/LEFT at the same time when you’re at the title screen.
