A love left behind
During my stint at DS Fanboy, I maintained a column of inconsistent quality that featured photos of handheld gamers, often with a story attached, some based on actual events, others completely fabricated.
“The DS Life” wasn’t nearly as profound as Simon Parkin’s similar Chewing Pixels column, but I loved scouring for scenes to feature and coming up with their narratives.
I was most proud of the images and tales with couples, as their sentimentality was inspiring. Since it’s the day of lovers, I’ll share five of my favorite photographs of pairs enjoying their portables together. Click the cropped images for the full shot and story!
