With a U.S. launch date and price now set for the DSi, you’ll see a lot of previews for the new hardware; I thought I’d share my impressions again, as it’s about a hojillion times better than all the others, for really reals.

My look at the DSi goes beyond the junk that you’ve already read about a dozen times, to share my difficulties with the SD card slot, the joys of the “clicky” D-Pad, and a choice cut from Gza’s seminal album Liquid Swords.

MTV Multiplayer also put up a new preview with shots of the DSi’s localized menus, but JC notes that my DSi/DS Lite comparison is still “better despite them being able to read the menus.” Yeah, I’m pretty awesome.
