Cave Story likely using original English patch
According to people in the know, developer Nicalis is likely using Aeon Genesis’ English translation patch for the WiiWare version of Cave Story.
That should mean that the port will, for the most part, read similarly to the PC release. So, there’s one less thing for us purists to agonize over!
Now, if only we could hear word about the original soundtrack being left intact. The off-screen videos that IGN posted left me fraught with worry.
