A new shop opened in this New Leaf town ⊟
Wow, buying organic is really expensive. And you thought Tom Nook was the only guy you had to worry about ripping you off! S/o to Candace Crossing for the pics.
You know what’s not hella expensive right now? Animal Crossing: New Leaf! It’s back in stock with a big discount at Amazon, available for $24.99 — The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is still on sale too for $34.96.
Animal Crossing for $25, new Zelda for $35 ⊟
If you hop over to Amazon, you can grab Animal Crossing: New Leaf for just $24.98, which is the cheapest I can remember seeing the game. [Update: Aw, the sale ended. It’s back up to $35.]
And The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds has a slight discount, too — grab that for $34.96. I don’t think you need us to remind you these are both great games; it’s not like we haven’t put up a million posts about them.
Animal Crossing: New Leaf Christmas trailer ⊟
Oh man, I need to return to my town. I’m feeling the holiday spirit after watching this, and by “holiday spirit’ I mean “desire to ignore everything on Earth in favor of celebrating in a fake town.” And I need that Santa beard.
Uh oh, there’s a new Nendoroid Isabelle ⊟
This one is dressed in her winter outfit! And has new emotes! It’s due to ship from J-List in April.
12% off almost everything at J-List (including this Isabelle figure!) ⊟
Two things: one, through Nov. 29, just about everything at J-List is 12% off. And two: the Nendoroid Isabelle is back in stock! It’s the best time yet to buy one of these cuties (especially since you, like, couldn’t for so long due to low stock).
If you’re buying Animal Crossing plush toys, you get an additional 10% off, and the 12% discount, when you buy two. Just saying.
Animal Crossing 2014 diary ⊟
It’s not a Hobonichi Techoooooooo, but this lovely planner/”pocket diary” would be a nice way to organize your life in 2014. If, uh, you could get the Japanese Club Nintendo points together to buy it.
Take a bath with Isabelle, DJ K.K. ⊟
I’ve covered a lot of Animal Crossing toys on Tiny since the game’s release this summer, but I never thought I’d post an apple-scented bath ball with an Animal Crossing: New Leaf character inside.
That is exactly what is happening here, in this post. So, for six bucks, you get: a) a lovely bath, and b) a little (randomly assorted) character!
Contribute to Philippines typhoon aid ⊟
I feel dumb for not taking advantage of this huge platform we have at Tiny Cartridge to direct you to aiding relief efforts in the Philippines after Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda earlier — especially since a lot of you have blood back there (and a lot of you actually live in the Philippines). Thankfully my own family in La Union is alright.
If you’d like to help out those in the Philippines recovering from the disaster, Aksys is running a special sale with cheap versions of Muramasa: Rebirth and BlazBlue goods, donating proceeds to victims of the typhoons. If you’d like to just send money directly to relief efforts, you can donate to Unicef, Oxfam, and other organizations.
Credit to xM4rkx for the Animal Crossing: New Leaf flag.
Animal Crossing AR Cards ⊟
Oh man, for Japan only. New eShop point cards coming to Japan interface with the (again, Japan-only) Photo Together app to allow you to put Animal Crossing characters in your real-life photos. Multiple characters can be displayed from each card!
I did not know how badly I needed to insert happy little Leif into all my photos. There are also Pikmin cards. Cute!
This comes out of a mini Nintendo Direct which – I’ll save you some time – is pretty much all stuff we saw already.
New Animal Crossing: New Leaf art anthology ⊟
These two pieces (by e1n and rockets?) come from Artisan Ordinance, a 38-page anthology collecting Animal Crossing artwork from more than a dozen artists. It’s a pretty expensive book, priced at $20, but the art I’ve seen for it so far looks great.
If you have a zine or anything else you think we’d be interested in, don’t forget to let us know!
Even more Animal Crossing plushes ⊟
We’re getting deep into the catalog now, with J-List’s newest-est offerings, including Brewster the pigeon barista, Timmy/Tommy (represented here by a single doll), Cyrus, and regular-ass villagers Bunnie and Fauna!
DJ KK plush and more Animal Crossing toys ⊟
Oh no, there’s too much cute Animal Crossing stuff up on J-List now, including this absolutely essential plush DJ KK with turntables. And an Isabelle that smiles? Completely unfair. All the plushes are $22 each, with the exception of KK, who is $24.
And in non-plush Animal Crossing toys, J-List also has these two wonderful stamp sets, with a bunch of Animal Crossing characters and items that are also rubber stamps, and can be stored inside these little houses. Swoon.
