Here’s the nice thing about the Bayonetta anime ⊟
I can’t get past like level 3 of the game, but it doesn’t take reflexes, pattern recognition, memorization or really any skills at all to watch all the way through Bayonetta: Bloody Fate.
Here’s the other nice thing: it’ll be out October 21 on Blu-Ray/DVD.

Level-5’s Little Battlers Experience anime comes to US in August ⊟
Nicktoons will begin showing the anime based on Level-5’s Danbooru Senki/Little Battlers Experience on August 24, producer Dentsu announced for Comic-Con. Like the various 3DS and PSP/PS Vita games that released in Japan for the series, the anime is about kids who program and battle tiny sorta-toy-but-also-sorta-secret-government-project robots.
Bandai will sell toys coinciding with the launch of the show, and Dentsu is looking for more merchandise partners.
…I mean, how about Level-5?

Super Smash Bros. x Attack on Titan opening ⊟
Whoooaaaa, this is impressive. Like, sure, a Super Smash Bros. and Attack on Titan mash-up is already an easy post for most blogs, but AmazingArtistYellow spent six months drawing every frame of animation here!
More Attack on Titan 3DS footage ⊟
I still don’t know what to think of this game. Will it be fun? Will it be the worst thing ever? Even with this three-and-a-half-minute trailer, I’ve no idea. It looks like we’ll see a lot of QTEs (quick-time events), an underwear outfit for some reason, and not many environments.. But, hey, that segment with Levi fighting the female Titan around the 1:30 mark seems cool.
Attack on Titan: The Last Wings of Mankind releases in Japan for 3DS on December 5.
Turn your 3DS into Sailor Mercury’s Super Computer ⊟
Part cosplay accessory, part 3DS accessory, this case by Lightning and Lace turns an Aqua 3DS into a pretty great facsimile of Sailor Mercury’s Super Computer, which she uses “to analyze enemies and other objects upon which data is needed, enabling her to find weak points in her enemies.” I’m sure it would look cool on other colors of 3DS too, but not as seamless.
Pre-orders for the $22 case end November 15. A 3DS XL version is also in the works. Via @ferretparty.
Guess I’m #TeamFroakie now ⊟
Seems like everyone is jumping on the Froakie train — thanks, Obama. I originally intended to make Fennekin my starter, but cot damn, have you seen his leaked evolution?

Attack on Titan 3DS boxart ⊟
Along with this box design, we also now have a minute-long gameplay trailer for the licensed 3DS game — you can see a lot of swinging around town with the 3D Maneuver Gear here. I think it looks fun, but almost everyone else is saying this is trash?
Attack on Titan 3DS commercial with 3D Maneuver Gear swinging ⊟
Well, that was quick. “That” being the time between our afternoon post with just a few seconds of footage and this 30-second commercial, as well as the time it took to transform this site into an Attack on Titan blog.
Anyway, how about that 3D Maneuver Gear? How is this going to even work on the 3DS? This is just cutscene stuff, or quick time events, right? This looks bangin’, but I’ve no idea how it’s possible.
Attack on Titan 3DS in motion ⊟
It’s only a couple seconds, but you can see the first footage released for Attack on Titan: The Last Wings of Mankind in what looks like a Japanese variety show here. These resized GIFs for the short clip don’t do it justice, but I think this looks really good! You can even see the steam rising from the colossal titan.
You’ll have to take into account, though, that we haven’t seen Spiderman-Man-style swinging around the town yet with the anime show’s 3D Maneuver Gear. If you missed when we posted screenshots earlier this week, Spike Chunsoft will release this in Japan on December 5.
Attack on Titan 3DS screenshots ⊟
I know this anime has had hella hype for a while, but I finally consumed the entire first season (or what’s out for it at least) last weekend, so I guess we’ll be covering this 3DS action game now.
Attack on Titan: The Last Wings of Mankind is slated to release in Japan this December 5, which is awfully quick considering this was announced just a few weeks ago and this is likely a marquee release due to the property’s popularity. I believe in Spike Chunsoft, though..
The game is broken into missions you can play through as the show’s three main characters (Eren, Mikasa, and Armin) — it looks like a Monster Hunter-ish experience that has you taking down titans, with a multiplayer co-op option for joining up to three other people. Boo, 3DS region locking.
Pokémon: The Origin ⊟
So we’ve reached the point when people can now remake the OG Pokémon anime series, featuring the original 151, Professor Oak, and Brock. I guess this TV special will dump that loser Ash? You don’t see much of Pikachu’s mark ass here either.
The anime special will premier in Japan this October.
