Anonymous Notes From the Abyss

Alongside several other forgettable downloadable games (though Bangai-O clone Assault Buster looks interesting), Sonic Powered will put out From the Abyss: Anonymous Notes next week via Japan’s DSiWare service. It’s essentially an excerpt of a 2008 action RPG with randomly generated dungeons that no one bought.
Even priced cheaply at 200 points, the game itself doesn’t interest me; it’s the title. I would love to play a game called Anonymous Notes that had nothing to do with From the Abyss. Imagine this scenario: You can write little messages on the touchscreen, send them to a random user online, and in return receive unsigned notes like this one:
“Dear other DS owner on the internet, here is a freehand sketch of what my balls look like.”
lt’s bewildering why more developers don’t approach us to dream up game ideas. This is gold right here.
In other DS news, Fight With Photos: Photo Fighter X might be coming to the West as Photo Dojo. Yay!
Import: Japanese Nintendo DSi XL/LL (Natural White, Dark Brown, Wine Red) & Standard DSi (White, Black, Pink, Red, Lime Green, Metallic Blue)
