This quaint track comes from Bud Melvin’s new album, Popular Music, a collection of songs combining chiptune, americana, and pop sensibilities. You can download or stream the release from the artist’s Bandcamp page, or purchase a vinyl copy from his personal site.

Unlike 8-bit Daily, where I first heard this, I love chiptune songs with vocals. This track (like all the others on the album) has a bit of singing, as well as a unique sound I’ve yet to encounter elsewhere. Now I need to hear a micromusic remix of Al Bowlly’s “Guilty”.
