As expected! Priced at $219, releasing with the game on June 9. It’s also coming to Europe on June 14. The system will include a pre-installed copy of Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Even though Europe will receive Fire Emblem: Awakening a couple months later than North America, the region scored this nice exclusive. The rest of us are stuck with standard 3DS bundles, but Europe gets a 3DS XL limited edition bundle when the game releases on April 19. Awakening will also have slightly different boxart and a better looking logo in Europe (Kellam still gets snubbed, though).
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will also have special Wii U (32 GB) and 3DS XL bundles in Europe — the former will include a black console and a black Wii U Pro Controller, while the latter will offer a black 3DS XL. The Circle Pad Pro will also launch there on the same day.

That seems a little steep considering this is just a standard 3DS, and the Mario Kart 7 3DS XL bundle has the same price (albeit for an older game). Also, in the press release it sent out today, Nintendo of America makes no mention of this package including a prepaid ¥1,000/$11 eShop card like the Japanese edition.
What it does include is the limited edition blue 3DS with a 4GB SD card and a digital copy of Fire Emblem: Awakening. As with the game, it ships on February 4.
Something I neglected to mention before, by the way: the North American release will feature dual-language support, so you can listen to Japanese voice acting if you prefer.

Nintendo of America has formally announced that this previously Japan-only bundle is coming to the States! It’s about time more of these limited edition 3DSes started coming to our shores — I have my fingers crossed that we’ll eventually see the beautiful Animal Crossing and Dragon Quest Monsters (or has that ship sailed?) ones here, too.

This Blue/Black Nintendo 3DS XL bundle with Mario Kart 7 pre-installed goes on sale for $200 starting December 2 — another decent system deal, considering the handheld alone is typically sold for that price.
Whats really interesting about this news is it falls in line with recent gossip that the standard-size 3DS will be sold for $140 by at least one retailer soon.

Nintendo 3DS + Super Mario 3D Land’s Black Friday bundle. The system, which comes with a pre-installed copy for one of the best games released last year, is priced at $170 — not bad since that’s how much the handheld usually costs alone, and the game typically sells for $40.
Of course, if you visit this site on the reg and don’t already have a 3DS plus a copy of Super Mario 3D Land, I wonder where we went wrong…

Of course there’s a Wii U bundle for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate! In Japan. Launching December 8, the package includes the Wii U Deluxe Set, the game, and a Wii U Monster Hunter Pro Controller for ¥38,850 ($498), ¥7,350 more than the Deluxe set alone.
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will be out in March in North America. Don’t expect a hardware bundle! Here’s producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announcing the game yesterday, and showing off its first English screenshot.

The Bravely Default Collector’s Pack looks as attractive as the 3DS game. Sold exclusively through Square Enix’s e-store in Japan, the limited edition bundle includes the game, an art album for Akihiko Yoshida’s illustrations, a giant AR poster, a 3DS protective case, and more.
This set is going for ¥12,800 ($164), and will begin shipping in Japan with the game on October 11. Square Enix brought the special edition Kingdom Hearts bundle here, so who knows, maybe it will do the same for this, if the publisher releases Bravely Default in the U.S.
Also, Dengeki posted new screens and details for the game, showing off some non-combat/overworld stuff for a change and looking at menus for a change.

Kingdom Hearts 3D’s Mark of Mystery Edition, releasing in North America on July 31 for $54.99.
The limited edition package includes the following:
It’s not the special edition 3DS that Japan got, but I don’t think anyone really expected that in the States anyway.

Metal Gear Solid 3D bundle with the special embossed “Snake Camouflage” system and two clear folders.
As I feared, production for this is extremely limited — you’ll only be able to purchase one through the Japan-only Konami Style e-Shop, and you’ll need to have a winning ticket in a raffle before you can even put down your ¥22,980 yen (¥298) to buy it. :o/

It’s a Black Friday miracle! GameStop’s sale circular reveals that the Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D 3DS bundle contains the special Zelda-themed 3DS announced for Europe — and not a normal Cosmo Black 3DS as previously thought!
GameStop is charging $199 for it, which I guess is a $10 savings over buying the game and the 3DS separately. But Best Buy’s going to have it for $179.99. I’m sure Amazon will have a similar price, and you won’t have to spend your entire Thanksgiving outside of a damn store with people ready to go full-on barbarian for a TV.

Limited edition SD Gundam G Generation 3DS and bundle packaging look sick (click for a larger image).
There are a lot of third-party 3DS bundles hitting Japan soon — the three New Love Plus packages, and of course the white Monster Hunter Tri-G set. When are we going to hear about special edition systems coming to the West?
This slick-looking kit, a fine successor to the dope RX-93 Gundam DS Lite, will release alongside the new 3DS game on December 22 for ¥21,090 ($274).
