Mega Man 10 artwork. If you were looking for the image from the mockup Mega Man 10 boxart featured on the “Rockmanjuu” package (and I’m basically talking to myself here), here it is, in a size suitable for desktop wallpaper.
It sort of recalls the PlayStation’s Rockman 6 box (and the Famicom Rockman 6 box, a little), in which the gang stood in space with a planet in the background — only, this time, the planet is above them, and they’re all just sort of standing there on nothing. Robots can do that.

“Objection” earrings by RedFlare. I wanted to post some Ace Attorney stuff, but I didn’t want to risk the stigma that comes along with posting “gaming cakes.” You want to see cakes, go over to Capcom-Unity. They’re actually really nice.
Anyway, earrings! I think they’re really neat-looking, and I like the idea, but I don’t know who’s going to wear these things.

“He’s blue, and he knows what to do!
He’s much more than a maaaan!”
Televisions back then were much more prone to video game-induced explosions.

Mega Man manjuu (“Rockmanjuu”). Not only are manjuu, like anything filled with sweet bean paste, super-delicious, these are presented in replica Rockman and Rockman 10 boxes. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen the Japanese Rockman 10 boxart before!
Capcom is stepping up the merchandise for Mega Man 10. Capcom USA is even handing out free t-shirts and posters with purchases at the Nintendo World Store this weekend as part of a Mega Man 10 launch party! If you’re lucky enough to be nearby, go get stuff!

This might start off like a couple other Ghost Trick videos Capcom’s released, but I’m pretty sure there are some new gameplay clips in here that I’ve never seen before, like that segment where your soul darts from item to item (01:15).
The parts around 01:45 and 02:05 also look new, and you even get to see Mille executed double 9 style.

tags / ghost trick / capcom / ecAs it did for the release of Mega Man 9, Japanese gaming site Inside-Games has updated with a full Mega Man 10 makeover. Not only do you get to stare at those adorable Mega Man faces next to every icon, there’s also a pop-up music player at the top of the page, and more pithy little slogans to read upon every refresh! Examples include “It’s timing! Timing!”, “Mega Man 10 in 2010!”, and “I’ll meet you all on three different platforms!”
I’d like these full-site advertising makeovers a lot more if they all had this much care put into them. And if they were all about Mega Man.

Want a tiny Chun-Li half? The Capcom Store is selling this “shimmering pink” Chun-Li bust for just $14.95. If you prefer your World Warrior portions more evil and simultaneously more Christmas-colored, you can grab a green M. Bison for $34.95.

Mega Man 10 Sakuma Drops! Sakuma Drops are an old-fashioned Japanese hard candy available in various flavors, all of which come in totally sweet tins. These days, you can buy Sakuma Drops in distinctly non-candy-like flavors, including beer, monjayaki, miso ramen, and others. But the Rockman candies come in less emetic flavors like lemon, strawberry, plum, and pineapple, roughly color-coded to the game’s bosses.
If you’d like to see Sakuma Drops featured in a movie, and if you’d like to cry and cry, check out Grave of the Fireflies. You will cry, though. If you’ve seen the movie, you might be crying now from just the mention of it.

New E-Tanks! To commemorate the release of Mega Man 10, Capcom is making the Mega Man 9 E-Tank beverage incrementally less special by putting out a new beverage. Can you tell the difference?

How about now? That’s right, the new energy drink is blueberry! Also the can is different in the back or whatever.

Poison figurine, on sale at Capcom’s store. If you’ve ever wanted the REFLECT figure of Final Fight’s Poison, in her alternate color scheme, now is totally the time to grab it. Capcom has marked it down from $84 to $63, which is significantly less to pay for a statuette of a random enemy from a game that was released in 1991. Looks pretty great, though.
Most importantly, the Capcom Unity post about this sale is titled “That Girl Is Poison And 25% Off.” Which means that, just as I did when I first posted about this figurine, I’m required to do this:

One of the most coveted videogame music albums of all time, the original compositions were compiled by Capcom into a (now rare and sinfully expensive) five-disc edition featuring the works of Masami Ueda, Hiroshi Yamaguchi, Rei Kondoh and Akari Kaida. Given Clover’s admiration for the 8-bit era, the official Japanese site of the game offered visitors the chance to visit a unique retro depiction of Kamiki Village (as shown in the video still image) in which it was possible to move Amaterasu, meet with different characters and hear chiptune versions of some of the most illustrious melodies from this extraordinary adventure.
With the sequel hitting the DS later this year, Ōkami now has the chance to reach a much larger audience than with its first and arguably unsuccessful debut on the PlayStation 2 and remake on the Wii. As suggested by the recent interest in related items such as the latest action figures and picture books, this enchanting game universe appears to be rejuvenating itself with swifter brush strokes and ever more sparkling tints.
