Mega Man 25th anniversary 3DS case coming

Capcom intends to begin selling this case with standard and XL versions through its online shop, but you should also be able to pick one up at San Diego Comic-Con in July. The publisher is also planning to produce more Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate cases too!

Crocheted BMO 3DS case by Kitlaurie

We were bound to post one of these eventually, seeing as we’ve already put up BMO skins, outfits, and even Game Boys. Kitlaurie is taking crochet commissions, by the way, so you can have her make one of these for you!

Ace Attorney 5’s Japanese boxart, LE extras

So, by the looks of this game’s new prosecutor/antagonist, this is going to be a Guilty Gear crossover or whatevs. Nice feather.

Capcom will put out an Extended Edition for the game that will include the cute case pictured above, as well as a Figurine Edition that will include a mystery item. Maybe it’s the figurine. And then there’s the Limited Edition that includes both. Everything here releases on July 25.

Nintendo has added the red Mario-style 3DS case to the North American Club Nintendo lineup, for 450 points – the same price as the green Luigi version, which now seems to have been removed from the site. It’s also oriented the opposite direction as the Luigi case, which is cute.

One of these cases will hold a DS, DSi, or 3DS admirably, with a little pocket for one game. It totally won’t hold a Vita

I’ve seen plenty of Mario and Luigi cases in this style, but this is the first time I’ve seen a Wario pouch, complete with purple overalls and back pockets for two carts.

This DS/3DS case should pair well with a Midnight Purple 3DS. Oh, and there’s a Goomba one, too! Clarinda Dotson is selling both for $18 each on her Etsy shop.

My Club Nintendo Luigi 3DS case. (Of course) it holds a 3DS just fine, with some room to spare. It does not hold a PS Vita. I could maybe squeeze the Vita in there well enough to barely close the zipper, but I don’t think it’s a good idea, and I’m not sure it would work.

Speaking of things barely fitting in this case, that little pocket holds a maximum of one game — and it takes some work to get that one game in there! Of course, there’s nothing stopping me from just tossing hella games into the case with the 3DS, so no big deal.

In conclusion, this was way more fun to get in the mail than my gas bill. If you want to sport a tiny optical illusion of a hat to carry your system around in, it’s available through Club Nintendo (North America) for 450 Coins.

PS Vita cases by Waterfield. I’ve heard from a very reliable source that Waterfield makes good accessories, and the $49 PS Vita Case (top) seems pretty nice. It and the “Gear Pouch Pro” ($45) are available in different colors; the “Suede Jacket” ($12 or $15, depending on whether you add a pocket) is brown.

I’m glad to see more Vita case options coming along. As of last week, I couldn’t even order the full Hori Vita lineup in the US. The severe limitation in options and time meant I had to order this thing (instead of, say, this guy, or what I really wanted, this). Of course, anything’s better than what I’ve been wrapping the Vita in to date; the less said about that, the better.

Okay, it’s a sock.

Mario Kart 7 pouch for your 3DS, available as an in-store preorder bonus through GAME/Gamestation in Europe.
I’ve spent the past couple days getting through all of the game’s cups in the 50cc and 100cc modes, and while I’m finding a few annoyances and frustrations (argh, Melody Motorway!), I can’t put this thing down…

Capcom’s Monster Hunter Tri-G 3DS and Slide Pad pouch. It’s not the most attractive case, but it will hold the Frankenstick add-on, and series fans might appreciate the scale-ish flap and emblem impressed on the strap.

This is for sale on the Japanese e-Capcom shop, priced at ¥2,940 ($39) and shipping on December 10, when the game and the limited edition 3DS ships overseas.

We have more evidence that Monster Hunter Tri-G is headed to the West, by the way, as Official Nintendo Magazine published a preview listing a Fall 2012 release for Europe. That’s a year from now! Perhaps Capcom will use that extra time to add online features?

DS/3DS cases by SmileRecipe. All the items on SmileRecipe’s Etsy store are super adorable — I basically just picked four cases as a random cuteness sample.

Each DS case (also suitable for cameras or other small gadgets) is designed to accommodate a 4.5” by 5” and has two interior pockets for games. Those buttons are just decorative; they actually have velcro.

Oh, and while I’m posting awesome handmade DS/3DS cases, whataboutki uses custom fabrics to make some really sharp Nintendo-themed cases, too.

Space Invaders and Darius Burst cases for iPhone 3G/3GS. These are actually arcade prizes, but NCSX is selling them to those of us not lucky enough to be near a Taito Station arcade, and not lucky enough to, you know, actually win prizes from those damn crane games!

I’m pretty excited to see new accessories for my phone, since I’d expect any new things to be iPhone 4-shaped. At $26 each, though, I’m going to decide just how excited I am.
