Virtue’s Last Reward watches on sale for Hurricane Sandy relief. For once, the boobytrapped watch is being used to save lives, not to end them in bloody explosions. Aksys is selling the watches (which come in three random colors) on its website for $20, with all proceeds going to the Red Cross, earmarked for Hurricane Sandy-related efforts.
I still have the t-shirt Aksys sold for Japan tsunami relief. A nice shirt and a nice gesture!

If you want to help out with Japan’s earthquake relief effort, while also filling out your DS or other game collection, Aksys Games can help. The niche publisher is donating 100% of the proceeds from sale of certain all games on its online store to ” charity efforts in Japan.” Some games have even been discounted, offering a little extra incentive to buy.

Here are the DS discounts:

  • Laevatein – $19.99 (same price, but now includes plastic folder and artbook)
  • Princess on Ice – $12.99 (was $15)
  • River City Soccer Hooligans – $14.99 (was $19.99)
  • Rockin’ Pretty – $12.99 (was $15)
  • Super Dodgeball Brawlers – $12.99 (was $15)
  • theresia – $14.99 (was $20)
  • World Cup of Pool – $7.99 (was $9.99)

Dodgeball is definitely worth that price, and I’m eyeing theresia

In non-DS sales, some standouts include the brand new PSP game Jikandia with bonus items, BlazBlue for as little as $20, and Deathsmiles. This is also the only chance you’ll get to buy Record of Agarest War with the boob mousepad, and not have it be a totally gross act.

The sale runs through March 24.

Update: Bjwitts pointed out that all proceeds from everything go to Japan relief! It’s the perfect time to pick up 999.
