Super Mario 3D Land screenshots and boxart (click for larger images). I think this is the first time we’ve seen parts of the packaging art creep into the right Nintendo 3DS strip? And check out the 8-bit-style stage!
I’ve put up approximately a hojillion posts today, so just in case you missed them, here are links to the game’s new trailer and an informative interview with Miyamoto.

NES dust cover. Apparently, sometime around 1990, Nintendo made official covers for the NES console; and, apparently, some of them were pink.
I’m a little surprised there wasn’t one of these in my house when I was younger. We were a Dust Cover Household, with a separate nylon-and-clear-vinyl cover for every audiovisual or video game device in the house, but they weren’t branded.

This cover of an Inoue Yosui song adds an element of melancholy that shouldn’t work with YMCK’s bouncy Famicom pop, but oh god it so does.
