Not a bad deal! Unfortunately, Gamestop’s online stock for this Etrian Odyssey/Wizardry-style first-person RPG is depleted, so you’ll need to find a nearby store with a copy, which you can do in the U.S. by hitting that link above and typing your zip code into the store locator.
While searching for an image to complement this “Amazon Deal of the Day” post, I came across this scene of Captain Olimar commanding his band of Pikmin to tickle the feet of Kingdom Hearts’s Sora. The Bulborb seems pretty confused about the whole mess, too.
Artist Erich Scheidle has a lot more art like this in his portfolio — Donkey Kong eating a banana while watching parrots use their feathered tails to torture the kids from Sonic X, a cackling trio of hyenas tickling the toes of Pokémon’s Veilstone Gym leader Maylene, and King K. Rool and King Dedede cheering on as a pair of Kirbys run feathers across Zero Suit Samus and Sheena Fujibayashi’s (Tales of Symphonia) feet.
It is a strange thing to want video game characters to tickle the feet of other tied up and unrelated game characters.
Nine Namco arcade classics for less than $10! This also has Pac-Man Vs., the Miyamoto-designed multiplayer Pac-Man game, in which up to three players control ghosts chasing a Pac-Man player. This sale ends today (or when Amazon runs out of copies) so pick it up quick.
Oh, and as for that other deal… Much like the smiles at Merv Burger, this image is on the house:
To protect the uncorrupted eyes of children — children who came here to see Pac-Man butt albeit — I dropped in that cherry sprite to cover up the yellow guy’s dangling banana. He doesn’t look pleased about it.
I’m sure Best Buy will run out of copies for this game soon, so pick it up now while you can! I’ve been playing it on and off for a month now, and I’m still not bored of the game!
If you’re looking to shave a few dollars off the Nintendo DS’s lineup of upcoming RPGs (with hiked up prices thanks to Atlus’ Spoils bundles and the Square Enix tax), consider these preorder deals:
This deal is available through a third-party seller on Amazon, so you’d need to pay a bit a little for shipping. Still, I’ve never seen new copies for this acclaimed action role-playing game priced this cheap, and if you’d rather buy it directly from Amazon, there’s an option to pick it up for $22.99 on the sidebar, too.
Online import shop Play-Asia cut prices for thousands of its games and products as part of its Lucky Spring Sale, with each customer order entered in a raffle for a variety of prizes — a Nintendo DSi, a Limited Edition Biohazard 5 console pack (PS3 or Xbox 360), store credit, etc.
Their dicounted DS catalog has dozens of Japanese and U.S. titles on sale and accessories, too!); keep in mind that the DS has no region-locking and can play games from other territories.
