Yeah, the Fire Emblem: Awakening special edition 3DS XL is exclusive to Europe, but you can put together a reasonable facsimile with a blue 3DS XL and one of these decals from Etsy user GameThemedThings. Or you can put it on a different colored 3DS XL! Or get the decal in black. Or put it on a non-3DS thing. Or get one that fits on a standard 3DS.
This is… way more versatile than importing a Euro 3DS XL.
It’s also $10! That leaves you plenty of money to buy gifts for the special fellow/lady/transforming rabbit person in your party.

Decoden DS on demand! Etsy user TheKawaiiOfficial will make you a DS Lite or 3DS case in the color scheme of your choice, covered with fake chocolate, cookies, candies, and cream, for $12.75.
Westaycute also offers custom decoden (short for “decorated phone,” a style of decoration that involves overloading a device with fake candy, sparkles, bows, etc.) services for the device of your choice. For 16GBP (about $30) you can specify device, theme, and even specific elements you want (“Hello kitty face/rhinestones/hearts/bows etc”)
I’m glad there are people keeping the decoden style going. I’ll cry a single creamy, sparkly tear when it dies out.

Kid Icarus sword props by ThePropShop. These are “made from wood, pink insulation foam, pvc and leather. Can be used as two swords as well as a bow.” I’m pretty sure the “use” implied here is display rather than fighting. I mean, you could try to fight somebody with these, but you’d be out $170.
Speaking of Pit swords, I thought PikminLink did a pretty dang great job on the ones she had at PAX East.

NES, the shoulder bag. Have you ever wanted to be the guy carrying a notebook around in a hollowed out NES, with velvet glued to the inside and big lunch box clasps? And a little NES controller card case to go with it?
I’d kinda want to get one of these to carry a third-party Famiclone in. Just because.

Dragon Quest Slime scarf by Etsy user GrandmasNook. There must be some part of the world where it isn’t 100+ degrees every day (though, after this summer, I literally can’t imagine what that’s like); if you happen to live in one of those places, this would make the perfect accessory for you.
“GrandmasNook” says that she made this crocheted Slime scarf because both her daughter and granddaughter are big Dragon Quest fans. “The slime is just adorable so I couldn’t resist making it!” Well, obviously!

Snowspeeder SNES and TIE Fighter N64 by CorellianCustoms. If you’re in the market for a Nintendo game system that is also a tiny sci-fi vehicle, both of these impressive items are for sale on CorellianCustoms’ Etsy shop.
Maybe the next project will be an original Xbox inside a Death Star model. If it would fit. That’s right, I went there. The Xbox is big. Edgy circa-2001 humor!

Charmander DS/3DS case by Etsy user TheBluOwl. These are made to order, and you have the option of a snap or velcro closure. And they’re way too cute to believe. Look at that little tail! The little hands/claws/whatever!
I don’t even know if I’d be able to carry one of these around, because every time I went to get my 3DS out, I’d just … admire the case …

Felt 3DS/DS cases by Etsy user AyameMizrahi. The selections include two Katamari-inspired designs, Ninjatown, Chocobo, and “Beautiful Proud Peacock.” They’re available for $15 each.
After seeing that adorable Chocobo case, I realized that Square Enix hasn’t done anything with that Chocobo Tales style in a few years, after a string of 2-3 games in that style. It’s a shame, because I always loved seeing that cute Chocobo in screens and trailers. I guess my casual appreciation of cuteness didn’t really constitute the kind of feedback Square Enix wants.

Zelda Triforce decals for 3DS, DS, and, you know, anything else with at least as much surface area as a 3DS. If you want a way to show your appreciation for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, but don’t want to go as far as a skin for the whole system, Etsy seller videogamedecals has you (partially) covered!
This comes in nine different colors, for $3.99. Normally, I’d say putting the Triforce on your stuff went out with Ocarina of Time, but Ocarina of Time’s back…

Super Mario Bros. 25th anniversary logo decal, printed and sold by Etsy user videogamedecals. I don’t believe I’ve ever thought to call a third-party console decal classy before, but this is great! It’s the perfect look for the Super Mario Bros. red Wii, as seen above, and is also available in 10 other colors for whatever you’d want to put it on.

DS/3DS cases by SmileRecipe. All the items on SmileRecipe’s Etsy store are super adorable — I basically just picked four cases as a random cuteness sample.
Each DS case (also suitable for cameras or other small gadgets) is designed to accommodate a 4.5” by 5” and has two interior pockets for games. Those buttons are just decorative; they actually have velcro.
Oh, and while I’m posting awesome handmade DS/3DS cases, whataboutki uses custom fabrics to make some really sharp Nintendo-themed cases, too.

“Gray Fox” by Greg Kaperski. Kaperski is selling the original painting of Metal Gear Solid’s cyborg ninja to fund his animated series, Eight Bit Strange.
It’s available from Etsy for $75 (before shipping/handling), including a 12” x 17” frame. It’s the perfect gift for that friend who likes to build box forts and repeat things he’s just been told in question form.
