Win Animal Crossing socks, necklace, and earrings! ⊟
Do you want to be decked out head to toe… er, head and toe in Animal Crossing designs from Fangamer? I know I do, which is why it’s so hard for me to part with the Town Lawn socks and Leaf jewelry Fangamer sent us.
But here I am, somehow overcoming my own avarice to give away two sets of Animal Crossing apparel! All you gotta do is leave a comment on this post telling us your favorite piece of Animal Crossing furniture, between now and Friday night, 11:59pm ET.
Oh, and if you’re an Ambassador+1 or higher tier Club Tiny member, you’ve done enough! You get automatic entry into our contest! Thanks for supporting us! And thanks to Fangamer! You’re always welcome in our town~
Animal Crossing necklace and more ⊟
This Leaf Necklace from Fangamer is like wearing any piece of furniture on your person. What is it? Is it a daruma? A balloon TV? A neutral corner?
While you’re at Fangamer, don’t forget to cop a Tiny Cartridge sticker pack — that Kissing Party sticker should would be great to give a cutie on Valentine’s Day.
You need Animal Crossing socks ⊟
You might not have known that your life was desperately missing socks with an Animal Crossing grass pattern, but well, that’s a service we provide. If you want to correct this problem and start living your life right, head to Fangamer.
Wearing these, I imagine, is like walking on the soft grass in your town, all the time.
Fabulous Fangamer X Attract Mode prints on sale ⊟
Remember all those great pieces we featured from last summer’s Fangamer X Attract Mode show? They’re now available to purchase online over at the Attract Mode shop! Though some of the prints are made to order, if you place your order soon, you should still be able to get them in time for Christmas in case you want to give them out as presents.
Kari Fry’s Field Guide to Kanto ⊟
Wow! Fangamer just debuted this beautiful paperback/hardcover book by Kari Fry, with detailed illustrations of all 151 original Pokemon, with detailed information. It’s like an Audubon guide to notional creatures, and I love it.
It’s also part of Fangamer’s “Sleep In Sale" just like everything else, offering free shipping on everything and bonuses with $50 and $100 orders.
Auction for Itoi-signed Earthbound cart ⊟
As part of its “Earthbound Bash” charity event, Fangamer is auctioning off this unique Earthbound cartridge signed by creator Shigesato Itoi.
"The cartridge originally belonged to James Hensiek, who gave it to his coworker Ben Bizzle as a gift. When James was later diagnosed with cancer, Ben decided to auction the cart and donate the proceeds to James.
Ben reached out to the community with his story in late 2012 with a post on the Starmen.Net Forum. After several months of calls, emails, logistics, and help from Lindsay Nelson, the cart was handed off to the staff at Fangamer and then passed along to Hobonichi, the office of EarthBound creator Shigesato Itoi.”
The cart, part of a complete Earthbound package, will be auctioned at the end of a live gameplay marathon, “after they defeat Giygas on the last day of the EarthBound Bash (around 8pm Eastern on Sunday, December 1, 2013)”
For maximum fundraising, ALL bids will be collected, not just the winning one! It’s for a good cause, and you could get a totally one-of-a-kind item.
Cory Schmitz’s “Killer” shirt back in stock ⊟
Here’s a recipe for a rad day (a few business days from now, I guess):
- Order this Killer 7-inspired shirt by Cory Schmitz, on Fangamer.
- Buy a used copy of Killer 7.
- Play Killer 7 while wearing the shirt.
- Maybe get some pizza or something, I don’t know, I can’t plan your whole life
- Read Tiny Cartridge, a site also designed by Cory!
Now that’s a good day.
BUY Killer 7, upcoming games
Killer video game art like these pieces from dozens of contributors! Chip music performances from Virt, Danimal Cannon, and Super Soul Bros! Games from 17-BIT (Skulls o the Shogun) and Capy (Sword & Sworcery)! Drinks!
All of that for $10 at Seattle’s 1927 Events, from 7PM ‘til midnight. I am so jealous of everyone who gets to to this tonight. Don’t forget to tell Fangamer and Attract Mode who sent you there (and that they’re awesome people)!
"25 Most Wanted Villains" by Dominique Ferland ⊟
Another great piece that will be at the Fangamer x Attract Mode party next Saturday in Seattle! Prints for Dom2D’s piece above will be available for sale at the show without the Xs — the idea is you can mark off the bosses you’ve beaten yourself. I’m trying to add Olmec to my list right now.
"X and Y" by Maré Odomo ⊟
Shout outs to Pokémon trainers who have pink hair, or who are people of color, or who like to stand around looking cool while modeling the letters from the next Pokémon game.
Love these trainers, this concept, and the art show/party Maré created this for: Fangamer X Attract Mode, which opens in Seattle next week during PAX. Along with a buttload of pieces from a dream team of artists, the show will have games, music, and drinks.
Basically, if you are in the area and you don’t go, you are dumb. I’m sorry if that’s mean, but I’m bummed that I won’t be anywhere near Seattle next week.
PREORDER Pokemon X and Y, upcoming releases

When you check out, use the code NUWEEF and get $4 off! That puts it at a nice, affordable $19. Wear it so everyone will know you’re all about cute times in animal villages like Buttocks.
Buy Retro City Rampage gear, get free Retro City Rampage
“While supplies last,” any purchase from Fangamer’s excellent Retro City Rampage collection will trigger delivery of a WiiWare code for the game itself, a $10 value.
Even if you already have this incredible, joke-rich sandbox game, the WiiWare release has cool extras, including “ROM City Rampage,” a version of the game that is for-real 8-bit.
The items are pretty great too! I get complimented on my Theftropolis shirt frequently.
While you’re shopping, Fangamer’s got a lot of rad new stuff, like this wonderful Donkey Kong shirt by Zac Gorman, Jacob Smiley’s cute Zelda prints, and the sweet Video Game Romantics shirt by Venus Patrol and Keita Takahashi. I know, I want to have something I can claim is me “and Keita Takahashi” as well.
Oh, and don’t forget to add a Tiny sticker pack to your order!
