Fangamer’s Power Mitt

I hope this works better as an oven mitt than the Power Glove did as a controller!h2

Fangamer is selling this amusing Jon Kay-designed oven mitt for $15. There’s no left-handed version yet, but send them a message if you’re interested in such a thing!

I’m having a hard time thinking of another genuinely funny oven mitt.

BUY The Wizard

If you’ve been holding off on buying our DS/3DS stickers or any other fine items from Attract Mode, today’s the day to buy them because the video game culture shop is offering free shipping on everything for U.S. customers!

Fangamer is running an identical promotion — for those outside the U.S., Canadian shipping is 50 percent off, and international is 25 percent off. Orders over $50 get a free keychain, and over $100 score a $20 gift card. The shop has lots of killer new products, too, like Mare Odomo’s Venusaur shirt and Zac Gorman’s Zelda print (above).

DS Club” by Maré Odomo, “Hero Needs a Cheer Squad” by Kari Fry, and “My Guitar is in My Mind” by Lindsey Collins. Prints of these and other pieces from the Fangamer Versus Attract Mode art show are now for sale through the Fangamer/Attract Mode store.

There’s a lot of amazing art, including pieces by Ashley Davis, Zac Gorman, Kris Mukai, and others. Some of it is probably going to end up on your wall.

“Seafarer Combo” by Zac Gorman. The Magical Game Time artist offers his take on The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker (i.e. the best 3D one) in this collection of items produced by Fangamer.

You can buy them together for $47, or the shirt, poster, and pin set individually. I like these! They all offer an unusual interpretation of Zelda, by which I mean it’s not just a bunch of Triforces.

One of many amazing pieces from many amazing artists participating in the Fangamer vs. Attract Mode show/party, which kicks off at PAX this Saturday. You don’t need to have a PAX Prime pass to attend, but you’ll need $5 bucks to take in all the indie games, chiptunes, and cray artwork that will be at the event.
This great Nintendo-packed piece (though a PS1 controller snuck in) comes from Tiffany ‘OMOcat’ Liao.

Fangamer is bringing some of its old shirt designs back – along with a few new ones – through a Kickstarter drive for its “Retrowear” line. The designs in the line include various Mario, Metal Gear, Metroid, and of course Earthbound designs from the company’s history, along with some mystery designs.

This is a true Kickstarter as preorder: $22 gets you any one shirt, or $45 for any jacket, with additional items available on top of that. Or you can pay over a thousand bucks to party with Fangamer at various events!

I’m happy to see Fangamer using Kickstarter to expand and offer more cool shirts. Of course, if you’d like to help Fangamer out with a little cash in another way…

Cards of Legend. While you’re on Fangamer picking up some Tiny stickers (right?????) you can pre-order a deck of really nice cards with Zelda imagery on them, including special Zelda suits (Triforce, heart, sword, Rupee).

If these look familiar, you probably saw them earlier this year as fanart by Nelde! Fangamer is printing them as for-real cards, due to ship this May for $15.

Buy Tiny stickers at PAX East!

Fangamer has kindly let us know that they’ll be stocking our lovely Tiny Cartridge x Mare Odomo DS/3DS cart stickers at PAX East, so if you’re going to be there and you have shamefully naked DS carts — and if you want to save on shipping costs — go to the Expo Hall, booth 1143!

(Of course, you can still buy them online, too!)

And iIf you go to the booth on Friday wearing a Fangamer shirt, you can even save 10 percent on whatever you buy there! You’ve earned those fifty cents.

Other things you might be able to pick up at PAX East: me! Wait, no, don’t pick me up. What the hell, man?!

What’s that cartridge peeking out of that DS? (click for a larger image). Why, it’s Kissing Party, one of four designs from our $5 sticker pack for DS/3DS games!
Tiny Cartridge reader Phillis took this shot after replacing the “lame” label on her M3i flashcart, and I’m sure her life is now a million times better thanks to that decision.
With Valentine’s Day coming up, don’t you want to make sure you get a hold of Kissing Party (and other rad cartridge art from Mare Odomo) for yourself/your lover? Send us non-butt photos of your games if you do!

I’m unable to control my excitement about getting to reveal the culmination of literally years of secret work: our Tiny Cartridge X Maré Odomo “Tiny Cart Sticker Pack,” produced and sold by Fangamer

With these, you can decorate your DS or 3DS cartridges (or, anything, really) with the face of our mascot or the cover of an imaginary game by Maré!

Each sheet includes:

  • Face in a Cart - Tiny Cartridge’s iconic mascot, now available as a for-real tiny cartridge
  • Letters to an Absent Father - A tender note from Maré Odomo’s wistful comic series
  • (Creepy) Black - Own the haunted game, the creepiest of pastas
  • Kissing Party - Give your lips practice with casual pecks or passionate make-out moments
  • A special (virtual) gift!

This is basically my favorite thing we’ve ever done, and you can get your own sheet for $5. I hope you enjoy them! Thanks to Fangamer and Maré for working with us on this weird daydream of a project, and thanks to you for even briefly considering a purchase!
