Animal Crossing’s Isabelle in Nendoroid form

She comes with a question mark accessory. Her hair has a real bell in it. This is just unfair. Good Smile Company’s Nendoroid Isabelle/Shizue perfectly replicates the Animal Crossing: New Leaf assistant, allowing you to relive your first days in Buttocks.

The figurine ships in October, and you can find it at whatever your favorite import toy retailer is. Jlist has preorders up for $42.

$5 off Fire Emblem: Awakening on Amazon

I haven’t seen many (if any) discounts for this game since it released three months ago, so a $5-off sale seems like a big deal! I doubt there are many people who own a 3DS but don’t have this yet, though…

Also a big deal: someone actually managed to make a non-lewd statue of Tharja — as opposed to this thing. Great job, Anna!

Okay, so I haven’t seen a Zinogre in MH3U yet – I’m still dealing with the occasional Arzuros and failing half the time at that – but I already like this figure.

Not going to lie, it’s entirely because of the lil’ hunter it comes with, for you to swipe away like it’s nothing. The figure is up for preorder at Jlist for $55, or your retailer of choice.

Ace Attorney 5’s Japanese boxart, LE extras

So, by the looks of this game’s new prosecutor/antagonist, this is going to be a Guilty Gear crossover or whatevs. Nice feather.

Capcom will put out an Extended Edition for the game that will include the cute case pictured above, as well as a Figurine Edition that will include a mystery item. Maybe it’s the figurine. And then there’s the Limited Edition that includes both. Everything here releases on July 25.

Real Action Heroes Link

Did you get priced out of the Figma Link when US distribution was canceled? Well, now you have another chance to pay way too much for a Skyward Sword Link action figure, one that is even cooler IMO. Because of cloth.

This one comes with a sword, shield, bow, the MotionPlus scarab thing whose name I can’t remember, and other accessories like a -_- face and a SHAAAHHH face.

It’ll be released in Japan in November.

People seem captivated by the Tharja figure

They’re not only making fanart based on the Max Factory toy unveiled two weeks ago (the illustration is from Yasabata); they’re photoshopping the gray sample model to get an early idea of what the painted version will look like.

Also, I’m surprised at how vulgar this figure looks when viewed from another angle (NSFW shot hidden past the break). I didn’t think Nintendo would allow its licensees to sell products based on its characters that look like this:

Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing figures on the way

Spotted at this weekend’s Wonder Festival show at Japan was this 1/8-scale figure of Fire Emblem: Awakening’s hex-happy Tharja, which will be produced by Max Factory.

Max Factory also has a “Marth” Figma figure in the works, and GSC showed off this Nendoroid for Animal Crossing: New Leaf’s secretary Shizue.

How to make your own Non-Specific Action Figure

Gametista’s Andrea Campton figured out the source figures used to make the character, seemingly the first in a line of weird Nintendo Direct memes that didn’t really go anywhere. And now you can make your own, using a wrestler action figure, some wings from a random bootleg toy, a sculpting compound, and paint!

If anyone involved in the creation of the original happens to be reading, I’d love to hear about how close her process was to the prototype.

Super Mario Characters Figure reward for Club Nintendo members in Japan, delivered in a coin block. For those thinking this would have been an awesome Platinum prize for the U.S…. It was, back in 2010! But without the dome, which for some reason makes this even more attractive to display.

The Japanese loyalty program has also added this cute 20th anniversary Kirby medal to its offerings, along with other previously mentioned Kirby merchandise.

No More Heroes 2 Sylvia Christel figure by Yamato. As far as I know, this representation of the enigmatic Sylvia about to burn the hell out of herself is the first statue to be released of a NMH character.

Even though this is $135 from AmiAmi, I’m going to suggest that the more financially irresponsible of you, and those able to get away with having provocative-looking figurines in your houses, totally pick this up so companies decide it’s good business to make No More Heroes stuff, despite the games not really selling in Japan.

There is currently no Travis Touchdown figure on my shelf. What the hell, people.

Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition Platinum Bison figurine. Game Informer posted a code for this exclusive Figurine Mode item: EebkxqWbYJ

So here’s a semi-embarrassing admission: I keep meaning to try to set an offer like this up with Capcom, but I just haven’t gotten around to contacting anyone. Seeing this gives me hope that it would work out, though — if the biggest game magazine in the country can run an exclusive offer like this, surely two dudes on some random blog can hook that up!
