Time Gal death animations. I love the Godzilla sound effect! Toei (who happens to own Godzilla) pretty much had to go for a cutesy SD style for the death scenes, because

1. Otherwise, a lot of these deaths would be pretty gruesome, and
2. The simplified look is a necessity for getting all the deaths an FMV game requires drawn quickly.

Seriously, 90% of the footage in any FMV game has to be these clips of your character failing in unique and interesting ways. Like by having a monster tear your pants off. Yeah, I don’t know.
