Gachapin x Mukku Battery Adapter, for use with DS Lite, DSi, DSi XL, and 3DS.
If you want a solution to the 3DS’s battery problems — and if you want that solution to have a picture on it of Gachapin riding a bike to power a Mukku-shaped lightbulb — here you go. It’s a battery pack that holds 4 AAs to provide some extra power to the system. If you use rechargeable batteries, it’s kind of… practical … maybe?

Finally, Cyber Gadget has revealed its 3DS line of accessories starring the Japanese children’s show character and his pal Mukku, allowing me to continue my longtime project of documenting all Gachapin accessories.
The available accessories include the Gachapin X Mukku Protect Case, Semi-Hard Case, Touch Pen, and Pouch. In non-Gachapin news, Cyber Gadget also has these “Rubber Coat Jackets” for 3DS in the system’s existing colors. Looks pretty nice!
Oh no! Disaster! I just realized that the cancellation of Mega Man Universe means that the Mega Man X Gachapin crossover is already cancelled! No playable Megapin… I hope you’re happy with yourselves, Capcom.

Though JC is currently absent from the site while he’s working his ass off at Tokyo Game Show, we can keep him in our hearts here with this mash-up of Mega Man and Gachapin. I bet he would’ve loved this if he were still around. I bet he would.
Megapin will appear as a tie-in character in Mega Man Universe, an upcoming XBLA/PSN game focused on user-created characters and levels, as downloadable content. Capcom celebrated the collaboration by bringing the two characters together at a TGS event. Mega Man doesn’t look too happy about it.

Gachapin and Mukku iPhone cases. As much as I love cases and other accessories bearing the image of the Hirakke! Ponkikki TV star, I’ve never been able to classify any of them as “subtle” until now. These don’t even have goofy, sleepy faces!

Gachapin earbuds! Yes, you could have tiny Japanese TV character heads sticking out of your ears. This item comes in both Gachapin and Mukku versions, each of which has the other character on the cable holder.

It is on — and by “it,” I mean “a Gachapin costume,” and by “on,” I mean “on Hello Kitty.” Both the Gachapin Kitty and Mukku Kitty are available as charms or straps, from Strapya. Apparently the partnership also resulted in a TV special, called “Umi no Bouken” (Sea Adventure), shown this month.
