DS/3DS Release Dates & Sales // Tiny Cartridge Stickers For Your Games!

Pokémon Black and White releasing on March 6th.

Six months after its Japanese debut, Black and White will hit the States next March, the two variants selling for $34.99 each. For those of you who’ve forgotten, the game adds over 150 new Pokémon to catch and a new region (Unova/New York City) to explore.

Along with three new Starter Pokémon — Fire-type Tepig, Water-type Oshawott, and Grass-type Smugleaf Snivy — this fifth generation game introduces a number of aesthetic changes, a seasonal cycle, triple battles, rotation battles, Pokémon musicals, C-Gear wireless features, the Pokémon Dream World, and more.

DSi owners can also take advantage of the Live Caster item, which allows you to audio- and video-chat with up to three other players, both locally and online.

Famicom Collector cart shown off by Pokemon developer Game Freak in a short post about making your own Famicom cartridge labels. I’m sure I’m not the only one here who wishes a Famicom game about collecting obscure 8-bit releases really existed. It would be even more brilliant if all the games you have to find are made-up titles like Devil Cop and School’s Out For Blood.

Speaking of modified carts, how rad is this Super Famiphone (forged by GBA Touch maker Goteking)?:

So rad. I’m almost reconsidering my decision to buy a Palm Pre Plus from Verizon next week!

Pulseman for the Mega Drive. A new ESRB rating indicates that this Japan-only platform action game by a pre-Pokemon Game Freak is on the way to the Virtual Console soon.

Well, not quite Japan-only — it was on the Sega Channel, but that hardly counts.
