Game Center CX’s Shinya Arino playing Mega Man 9.
After hearing JC plead for this video, I hit the streets, busted a few skulls, and located this glorious clip. Let’s just say you owe me one.
Notice that Arino is given an E-Tank drink towards the end, which causes him to exclaim, “Wah, sports drink?” and “Rockman drank this?!”
Arino is really having a tough time with those elephants in Concrete Man’s stage. Keep in mind that the Game Center CX star wasn’t able to clear Mega Man 2 during the show’s second season (though he did beat the first Mega Man game in the 7th season).

If you’re unfamiliar with this wonderful title or the GameCenter CX television show that it’s based on, I posted a media filled piece on the game and its advertisements a while back.
Interestingly, according to Amazon’s product description, XSEED hasn’t changed show host Arino’s very Japanese name for its localization; the blurb even alludes to the TV series. Hopefully, most of the game’s quirkiness and “charm” will be left intact as well!
