GameStop has marked the price of the Aly & AJ Guitar Hero controller for Wii down to just $30! That’s the same price as a used Guitar Hero III Les Paul! That means that this controller, which looked kind of like a butt to me at first, but which looks more like a ball sack now that people have pointed it out, is now a viable purchase.

Okay, so the character on this Chinese-manufactured accessory’s box bears only a passing resemblance to 7 Up mascot Fido Dido, but this is how I imagine the cartoon character would look after several difficult years out of the spotlight. Meth is a terrible drug.

Despite the cover’s reassurances and the “fatures” listed on the back, this $12 Guitar Grip package does not actually come with a Guitar Hero: On Tour cart.

Still, you might want to pick one up if you intend to purchase On Tour or On Tour: Decades when Activision releases the games unbundled later this year. Several homebrew titles, like UAPaint, Video Games Hero, and Fret Fury also feature Guitar Grip support!
