That’s right, things are getting super spooky up in this piece. Look at that cat with its bow tie; that fellow is up to no good. Also, the other stickers glow in the dark, so you know something is about to pop off.
Stickers? 3DS? Ghosts? You know the drill.

With Halloween coming soon, now is the perfect time to hawk our junk remember everyone’s favorite creepypasta and haunted video game, Pokémon (Creepy) Black.
Guys, wouldn’t it be crazy if (Creepy) Black was real? Like, if you could pop a cartridge into your system, show it to your friends, and see them flip out?
What if I told you there’s a way to get your own (Creepy) Black DS or 3DS cart? Or that if you’re reckless enough to try it, you can relive the story on your system?
So, submitted for the approval of the Midnight Society, I call this post… How to make your own Pokémon (Creepy) Black cart!
Splatterhouse’s Rick Taylor, by Ashley Davis. Reminds me of Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffiti, but somehow even cuter! Look at his cute little… bloody plank…

Creepy TV commercials for Japanese games. Are you actually playing or planning to play horror games this All Hallows’ Evening? Are you that person all these sites are writing “Top Games To Play This Halloween” posts for?
If so, here are some ideas! There’s even a new fan translation for the last title in the video, Nanashi no Game. Or if you’re looking for something more recent to play on your 3DS, there’s always Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove, Ghost Trick, Aliens: Infestation, or, uh, Professor Layton and the Last Specter?

Concept art for Capcom’s upcoming plush SEVERED TAIL. This Monster Hunter item, a replica of a Rathalos tail, is definitely the most Halloweeny thing I’ve seen today. Gruesome!
Way to make me feel bad for hunting monsters. This thing’s going to give me nightmares, and then I’ll wake up and realize that the pillow I’m hugging is OH GOD A SEVERED TAIL.

It’s too late to get a new Meat Bun shirt for Halloween, but you can order one now for a day in which you aren’t in a costume. For today only, all of the site’s shirts are 31% off (GET IT)!
If you’re feeling seasonal, you can pick up the Samba de los Muertos shirt above for $16.56. I’m pretty fond of the new, black/gray variant of the “4th Gen” shirt, myself. It’s the same price! So cheap!

Halloween-themed 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors wallpaper. Even though we missed this on Halloween, I thought it was worth posting now because
a) This Chunsoft-developed DS adventure game comes out in just over a week, and looks like it could be really interesting.
b) lulz

Tetris TV costume and a canine controller, handmade and worn by Irene Stone and Buster. This dog is much too impatient to stack up four lines before clearing it all — as soon as that line-piece appears, he’s all, “Eff that noise, I’m dropping this thing right now! PEACE.”
We’re on a roll with animal posts, what with Tetris Dog and Game Boy Cat! Tomorrow: Hamster U-Force.

Paper Mario and Vivian trick or treating. Either that or they stole some family’s pumpkins like a bunch of jerks.
So, either your Halloween’s all over or you’re getting ready to celebrate the holiday — what did you dress up as? Did you get to do anything fun in costume?
My wife and I dressed up as Ash and Kristofferson (in bandit masks) from Wes Anderson’s interpretation of Fantastic Mr. Fox, and spent a few hours at a metal concert filled with other dressed-up hooligans. It rocked!

If you’re looking for a hella scary Halloween-style game for your iPhone today, I may have found just the thing. With pretty much no fanfare, Chunsoft put three games on the US App Store, including Kowa-Oto, which I think translates to “scary sounds.” The “sound action game” is a first-person maze in which sounds alert you to the distance from both the exit and a cursed doll wandering the area. Scaaaaarryyyyy. Actually, I haven’t put my $2 down, so I have no idea how scaaaaaryyyyy it is. Here’s an iTunes link.
“Hear the dry cackling sounds surrounding you in the dark… Can you escape from the dungeon to see the light of day again? It challenges your hearing!”
Two other Chunsoft games are also available: Rush Hour Train (iTunes) about optimizing train occupancy, and Escape Flash (iTunes), about finding the way out of a room after seeing it for just a moment. They aren’t particularly scary-looking, but they are free. And, I don’t know, maybe they were developed on top of an old graveyard, or with a cursed keyboard or something.
